Hey there. Sorry for the extended absence. September has been an incredible month of Murphy’s Law. Let’s leave it at that. Moving on… October is Inktober! Ever hear of it? It’s 31 days of 31 ink drawings. It’s an ink challenge to help improve your drawing and inking skills! Inktober.com has all the info and goodies on how to participate. However, I will pin the rules here too.

I thought this would be a great challenge to get back into the swing of things. I’m feeling a little rusty, creatively speaking and I could use some inspiration to get the imagination going again. I took the liberty to attach the rules and prompts. Like I said visit Inktober.com for all the information.

This is for fun, for developing your skills and sharing your ideas and art. I encourage everyone to pick up a pen and start drawing. To a new month, may October be filled with apple cider and pumpkins galore, colorful leaves and a cool autumn breeze. Cheers!
Artfully yours,
Andi
Inktober rules:
1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
2) Post it*
3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2019
4) Repeat
Note: you can do it daily, or go the half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. Inktober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more you’re consistent the better.
That’s it! Now go make something beautiful.
*Post it on any social media account you want or just post it on your refrigerator. The point is to share your art with someone. 🙂
