I love washi tape. It is so delicate and beautiful. Not to mention it comes in so many patterns and colors. So how do you use this amazing material? I use it in my bullet journal, cards, and my latest endeavor, decorating jars and glasses for multi purposes.
For this little project, I used washi tape and Glossy Mod Podge. The Mod Podge is great for sealing/ top coating and decoupage. So I covered the glasses with washi tape and then I put two coats of Mod Podge, letting it dry in between each layer. I have quite a collection of pens, pencils, and markers and this is a great way to keep them organized and display all of the beautiful colors.

I like to use the washi tape in my journal as a nice hint of color, pattern, or to set a theme. There are so many creative ways to use washi tape. Making picture frames, flags for paperclips, divider markers, covering lightswitch covers, cell phone cases and more. I just made a book cover for my journal because I wanted to protect the cover. This project is so simple and it is very quick, not to mention very actractive. Having fun little mini projects to do are great especially when you need some rainy day activities. Hope you are inspired to try washi tape and add this into your favorite art supplies. Please like and share, and if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to drop a line.
Artfully yours,
