Going for it.

I have to get this out of my head. Ever have that dream, that goal, that one thing you want…not want, need? Ever feel like just when you are ready, ready to take that leap of faith you catch yourself before you jump? Yeah. I have had that feeling more times than I count, but not today. I am going for it.

No matter what your vocation is, doing something you are passionate about is crucial. Some people know what they want to do for a career as early as childhood. Some people still don’t know what they want to be when they grow up. Some people know what they want but are told that it is not practical and choose other paths and get lost. Yeah. That’s me. I want need to make my avocation my vocation.

Perhaps having courage, faith, and the fortitude to pursue your passion is what it takes to be successful or perhaps just happy. Isn’t that what we all want? So, what’s holding us back? What’s holding me back? I can think of a million excuses, but when it comes down to it, the answer is me. The time is NOW. No more excuses, no more dreaming it is time to make my passion and make it a reality. I am not going to walk. I am going to run right to the edge and take that leap because if I don’t I’ll never know.

Carpe Diem. If you have a passion, a dream it is time to go for it. I am.
